You see all this? All based on his works revolving around Devilman. There is no happy ending to this story. Nagai is known for pushing his way past the censors for the sake of a story. Even with some of his most risque works, Devilman stands out. You think any of today’s manga or anime are bloody and gory? You think End of Evangelion had a fucked up ending? Then you’ve not seen what transpires in Devilman. Considering we’re near the month of spooks, I’d say give it a read.
