A
giant semiaquatic anole, Anolis vermiculatus, courtesy of the Havana
Zoo and Tomas. This taxon assumes a very different coloration during the
breeding season, lacks a dewlap, and uses posturing during territorial
and other encounters.

They attain a max. SVL (snout-vent length) of up to 12.3 cm.
