The paradise flying snake (Chrysopelea paradisi) is a species of arboreal snake found in southeastern Asia. It can cover a horizontal distance of 100 meters or more in a glide from the top of a tree by spreading its ribs to flatten its body. (x)

Half the people I know would think this is cool, and the other half is probably screaming in terror.
