The Tibetan sand fox (Vulpes ferrilata) is a species of true fox endemic to the high Tibetan Plateau, Ladakh plateau, Nepal, China, Sikkim, and Bhutan. They feed primarily on Plateau pikas and sometimes

form commensal relationships with brown bears during hunts. The bears dig out the pikas, and the foxes grab them when they escape the bears. (x x x x)
